Who We Are

The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards encourages students to contribute to an environment of responsible behavior and respect for others, reflective of the university’s overall mission. It is located on the second floor of the Student Center.

What We Do

The goals of this office:
 - Establish and administer behavioral expectations that improve and maintain the high quality of the communal university experience.
 - Assist in the resolution of conflict between members of the community.
 - Offer procedural fairness to all students documented for violating university policies through an educational and developmental conduct process.

All students are responsible for knowing and abiding by the Student Code of Conduct, which defines the behavioral standards that have been established for the purpose of maintaining a safe, respectful community here at Lynn and for ensuring that  students are a positive reflection of Lynn University in the greater community.

Every student plays an important role in upholding the Student Code of Conduct at Lynn University. As adults, students are accountable for their own behavior, and are expected to make efforts to resolve any conflicts they may have with others in the university community. Students are expected to act with integrity, and to respect the rights of others. In instances where this does not occur, the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards offers a disciplinary process that encourages students to learn from their mistakes and to think critically about the impact their actions have on others.
