The Women’s Center provides all members of the Lynn University community with education, information, confidential services, and programming that addresses a broad range of issues related to gender, relationships and equality.  The Women's Center educates through educational and empowering programs, trainings and workshops to raise awareness about women's issues, gender-related issues and gender-based violence.  The office's programming is designed to create a gender-equitable and safe campus community that works together to support women and celebrate their experiences, achievements and diversity.

The Women's Center also provides assistance to any undergrad student, graduate student or staff or faculty member who is a victim of gender-based violence, including sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, stalking, and harassment.  All of the Women's Center services are confidential, including crisis response, a 24-hour hotline, victim advocacy, and referrals to both on- and off-campus resources for survivors and their loved ones.

What if I'm Not a Woman?

The Women's Center encourages all members of the Lynn community regardless of gender to get involved with the office and participate in its events.  Gender inequality negatively affects everyone, and gender-based violence can happen to anyone.  The Women's Center focuses on women's issues, empowerment and leadership, because gender inequality and violence disproportionately affect women.  The Women's Center focuses on intersectional women's issues in order to take a big-picture approach to addressing and eliminating all forms of gender-based violence and striving for gender equality on campus and in society.
