Congratulations to our 2016-2017 Millennium Campus Network Millennium
Fellowship participants.

During the 2017 spring semester, three members of the 2016-2017 Knights
of the Roundtable, Jhoanna Jimenez, Eugenia Bouzas and Matias Solari,
participated in the Millennium Campus Network's Millennium Fellowship.
The Millennium Fellowship program is an accredited 10 session, semester-long
leadership accelerator that assembles university students across the country
for the purpose of improving their student organizations, partnerships and
community impact.

Jhoanna, Eugenia and Matias were given opportunities to network with
leaders in the social impact sector, develop their professional skills, receive
peer feedback and individual leadership coaching, and reflect to explore their
values.  They each received three academic credits for their participation while
they worked with their student organizations here at Lynn to advance
partnership: empathy and humility, leadership and campus engagement.

At the conclusion of the semester, all student fellows participated in a
pitching competition and impact studio presentation.  Of the university
groups represented in Miami, Jhoanna, Eugenia and Matias placed 2nd
in the competition.

Fall 2011, saw the birth of a new tradition surrounding Lynn University's iconic symbol, the Knight. Lynn's former student government led by a president was replaced with The Knights of the Roundtable (KOR). As in the story of King Arthur's Knights of the Rountable, there is no head of the group; all members have equal status.

Knights of the Roundtable 2015-2016 Accomplishments

  • The Knights of the Roundtable also collected donations for Ecuador after their devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake.
  • The Knights of the Roundtable hosted the first Active Shooter Presentation for all faculty, staff and students on campus.
