The mission of the CLA is to make sure every student has the opportunity to study abroad and experience a new culture during their time at Lynn. The CLA offers short-term, semester and year-long programs worldwide, and coursework completed abroad can be applied toward the student’s degree at Lynn.

Lynn University fully recognizes that we live within a globally interconnected world, both socially and economically, and that study abroad opportunities can be an important part of the overall collegiate learning experience.

The CLA staff provides advising to students on the variety of study abroad options available.  Staff members seek to match students with the program that best meet their academic and personal needs. Considerations include but are not limited to the student’s major, courses required to graduate, program duration, program location, anticipated experience abroad, financial needs and special accommodations.

Throughout a student’s program abroad, the CLA staff will be in direct contact with the provider’s on-site personnel as well as the student, in order to assist with any academic, health and/or safety issues the student may have.

Programs are available in all regions of the world; Latin America including the Caribbean and South America; Europe including East and West; Asia, Africa, and Oceania.  All Lynn-Approved and Lynn Faculty-Led programs can be found on the CLA website – http://lynn.abroadoffice.net.
