The Women’s Center provides all members of the Lynn University community with education, information, confidential services, and programming that addresses a broad range of issues related to gender, relationships, and equality. The Women’s Center also provides a variety of programs, trainings, and workshops to raise awareness about women’s issues, gender-related issues, and gender-based violence. The office’s programming is designed to create a gender-equitable and safe campus community that works together to support women and celebrate their experiences, achievements, and diversity.

The Women’s Center offers assistance to any undergraduate/graduate student, staff, or faculty who is a victim of gender-based violence, including sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, stalking, and harassment. All of the women’s center services are confidential, including crisis response, a 24-hour hotline, victim advocacy, and referrals to both on- and off-campus resources for survivors and their loved ones.

The Women’s Center encourages members of the Lynn community, of all genders, to get involved with the office and participate in events.Gender inequality negatively affects everyone and gender-based violence can happen to anyone, regardless of gender. The Women’s Center focuses on women’s issues, empowerment, and leadership because gender inequality and violence disproportionately affect women. The Women’s Center also focuses on intersectional women’s issues in order to take a big-picture approach to addressing and eliminating all forms of gender-based violence, and striving for gender equality on campus and in society.
