Congratulations on your acceptance to Lynn University! Your time as a Fighting Knight is sure to be one of the greatest experiences of your life. With the Lynn Launch: First Year Immersion you have the opportunity to get started on your college journey before classes begin.

Gain a sneak peek into your future home away from home. Lynn Launch is an incredible opportunity for new students to learn about Lynn University, their new classmates and themselves. The program focuses on the transition between college and high school. Students who attend Lynn Launch will learn all about academic expectations at Lynn, the importance of on-campus involvement, and what it means to be a college student.  This experience provides a balance of in-classroom educational insight and a chance to explore the fun that awaits you in South Florida. Check out some of the things you'll do:

        • Learn how to successfully transition from high school to college by taking part in conference-style educational and leadership sessions.
        • Meet an academic advisor.
        • Experience living in an on-campus residence hall.
        • Evening on-campus Fire Pit Party with s’mores and a DJ.
        • Barbeque on one of South Florida’s beautiful beaches.
        • Spend a day at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
        • The experience offers new students a head start on their freshman year and a chance at creating lifelong friendships.

   

Trinity or Freiburger Residence Hall

Students will be getting an inside sneak-peek into what it is like to live on-campus. During Pre-Orientation, students will be staying in either Trinity Residence Hall or Freibuger Residence Hall, both of which have double-occupancy rooms with a vanity/sink in each room, and community-style bathrooms on each floor. All students in Pre-Orientation will be assigned a roommate to live and learn with for the week.

Registration is a total of $250 per student.  This includes:

-3 night stay in one of our on-campus residence halls

-Linens for your stay

-Meals and snacks throughout Lynn Launch

-Transportation to an from the airport, we well as to our off-campus excursions!

-Transportation and a ticket to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

-Memories that will last a lifetime!

Arrival Information:

You must schedule your arrival flight to LAND at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) on Day 1 (Session 1: July 13th or Session 2: July 20th) before 3:00 p.m. Van transportation will be provided by the university from the airport leaving at 4:00 p.m. If driving or being dropped off, please arrive to campus between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m.

Departure Information:

You must schedule your departing flight to TAKE-OFF from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) on Day 4 (Session 1: July 16th or Session 2: July 23rdth) after 1:30 p.m. Van transportation will be provided by the university the morning of departure and arriving at the FLL Airport at approximately 12:00 p.m. If being picked up or driving, please plan to depart between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
