The Center for Student Involvement staff is pleased to welcome you to Lynn University! Our primary goal is to provide you and your family the information and tools you need to transition successfully into the Lynn University community. Through our programs, you will explore the many Lynn University offerings, access important resources, learn about a wide range of activities and programs, and discover what it means to be a "Fighting Knight."
 
We hope this site will be your road map to a successful transition to the University. This site includes important dates, information, and updates regarding the tasks you'll need to complete before arriving on campus.

For incoming DMAC students & their families entering Lynn University in October 2017, your New Student Orientation will be held on Friday, Oct. 20.  Please see the schedules below for more information.
 
 

Vehicle Registration

All student cars must be registered with the university.  If you intend to park a car on campus, please fill out the following form:

Campus ID Card

All students must have a Lynn University Campus ID Card.  Please fill out the following form to register for your ID. 

Student Health Insurance

As a part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), all students at Lynn University are required to have some form of health insurance. If students have their own health insurance, we ask that you please bring a copy of your insurance card to check-in on Oct. 20.

Lynn University does offer Student Heath Insurance that will be available to incoming DMAC students beginning January 2018 at an additional cost.  For more information, please see the information below.  If you have further questions, please visit Student Financial Services.

How to Enroll in the Lynn University Health Insurance 

My Lynn Account

Your myLynn account will allow you access to many online services like login into computers,  class schedule, financial aid documents, tuition payments, grades, email and more. To create your account you will need your Lynn ID Number and Date of Birth.  For instructions to create/reset your myLynn account password  click here.

Emergency Contact Form

All students are required to complete the Emergency Contact Form. The information will be used only for emergency notification purposes. In the event of an emergency, students will be contacted via a combinations of voice messages, email, and/or text messages.

Ferpa Form

As a college student you are the only person who has access to your education records. That means if someone wants to know or verify information regarding your grades or progress towards graduation we cannot release your information without your consent.  The FERPA form authorizes us to release your information to those you indicate on the form. Please login to myLynn and click here to complete your Ferpa form.

Self report race and ethnicity

We are required by the National Center Education Statistics (NCES) to give students, staff and faculty the opportunity to self-report their race and ethnicity (as defined by the US Office of Management and Budget).  Although you are not required to report your race and ethnicity,  we would like to take this opportunity to let you know how to go about updating your information if you wish to do so.  Just log into myLynn and click here for the ethnicity and race form. Once you have indicated both your ethnicity and race, click Submit Changes. 

Financial Forms

Here are a few updates you can already make:

  • Add Lynn’s school code (001505) to your FAFSA at fafsa.gov [http://www.fafsa.gov].
  • Complete the 1098T consent form at my.lynn.edu [https://my.lynn.edu/ICS/Finances/].
  • Complete the Authorization of Credit, FERPA and Texting Permission forms on the Electronic Student Aid System (E-SAS) at my.lynn.edu [https://lynnapps.lynn.edu/NetPartnerStudent/Logon.aspx].
  • Apply for private loans on lynn.edu [https://www.lynn.edu/admission/tuition-aid/financial-aid/scholarships-grants-loans/private-loans].
  • Update your Federal PLUS app (Parent PLUS borrowers, only). Visit studentloans.gov [http://www.studentloans.gov].

Florida residents

On Friday you will be asked to complete a Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG) application, which will allow us to determine your eligibility. Your parent’s Florida Driver’s License and parent’s vehicle registration form is required for this application. Please bring copies to orientation.
