Lynn takes action to preserve water on campus

The National Intelligence Council Global Trends: 2030 projects a 40% increase in demand for food and water by 2030 and nearly 50% of the world's population will live in areas with limited access to food and water.  These scarcities will worsen the outlook for critical resources.

Lynn University is working to lessen our environmental impact through the following actions:

• All landscaping on campus is irrigated using (IRIS) reclaimed water system.

• We don't use trays in the cafeteria, saving 1, 500 gallons of water each day.

• We upgraded all the toilets, urinals and faucets on campus that is projected to save 6, 259, 000 gallons of water annually.
